Sustainable Materials

‘It’s all about style not trends and designing clothes that last for more than just a season.’

To create a sustainably made clothing line, we pick each material with intention and care, as our commitment is for the materials we use to continually sustain the fashion cycle. When sourcing for our fabrics, our main priorities are natural, recycled, and organic fibers, whether they are plant based such us cotton, vegan leather or recycled polyster.  As designers, change and innovation are key drivers, and we believe that luxury and style don’t have to be compromised in order to be ethical and sustainable.

Our Fabrics are sourced and our products manufactured through a carefully selected network of suppliers located around the Europe. Since almost all manufactures we are working with are based in Italy at least once in a year we try to conduct in-person factory visits to ensure that our companies code of code of conduct is being adhered to.

The metal trims used in our designs are composed of partially recycled materials. From 2021 to meet or sustainability goals  we are going to switch to Corozo buttons, made from a nut from Ecuador also known as tagua or vegetable ivory.

Our poly mailers, wrappers and hang tags are out of 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. The poly mailer is also designed to be reused with a dual adhesive strip for resealing.

All of our packaging is made from poly recycled material. Poly bags will decompose in a landfil much faster than standard plastic. In 2020, we are planning to transition all of our smaller shipments for web orders over to 100% recycled paper mailers. These mailers use at least 50% post-consumer recycled material and reduce out reliance on hard-to-recycle polymailers. For larger shipments, we use cardboard boxes, also containing recycled material

We ask that all of our suppliers use high quality dyes by brands such as Hunstman. When onboarding a new supplier, we look for partnerships that are Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard, meaning that raw materials will undergo testing to ensure that no harmful chemicals are used.
